It really helped them become more informed and interested about the Civil War and the Battle of Gettysburg.. Becky B said Good child guide to Gettysburg and the Civil War. My kids read this book on our way to Gettysburg, it was wonderful! They had good questions or our guide and were able to answer many of his questions from things they learned in the book..
