Looking forward to the next instalment Software company owner Bob is recently rich and living it up in Vegas, and certainly not expecting that his "freeze my head when I die" purchase will come in handy any time soon. But the universe is perverse and next thing he knows, Bob is waking up a century later to a radically different world and an offer he - literally - can't refuse as the brain-in-a-box pilot of an interstellar, self replicating probe.The vibe is reminisicient of Heinlein in it's technology will triumph . adam mchugh said Wow! This is a rather interesting take on the morality and consequences of a fringe technology, cryogenics, which fast-forwards through time to a dystopian earth culture.Although, as an Australian the first words from an Australian character being "Piss off mate" was a refreshing addition.Well thought through and written book, and I cannot wait to read the rest!. "Very interesting" according to Jeffrey Joseph Hairston. Good read. Very funny and entertaining. This was a better read than I was expecting. I look forward to follow up books in the bob universe.
