Interesting & informative Erin I was looking for a book to help me learn tricks to accomplish retro styles quickly. This book offers step by step pictures and also a history of techniques and styles. It even covers hair accessories like scarves and makeup. The only thing I think it's missing is a final detailed pic of each hairstyle. It includes a beautiful headshot of the model wearing the style but I'd like to. My 16-year-old granddaughter loved it My 16-year-old granddaughter loves to dress up, in any style but especially in 50s style clothes. I gave her this book for her birthday and she used it for herself and her friends at her 50s birthday party. They all dressed up in 50s clothes, had her mother do their hair in a vintage style, went to a diner for dinner, and then went roller skating! She loves this book and this conce.
