Good book, bad binding Very good book, the organization is solid and the information is accurate. My main gripe is that the binding fell apart within two days, and I have had to tape pages back in. I would look at one page two times and the page would fall out. For something that would be expected to be carried around and referred to pretty constantly, the binding is terrible. I wouldn't mind paying more for a copy that w. Southern woman said Lacking. I like the previous Paul Chan books, but this one leaves a lot of information out. There is no ENT section, so AOM and otitis externa are not in there. The other ENT content is in the infectious disease section. I've always liked Dr. Chan's books, but was disappointed with this one.. An excellent quick resource farassa I've owned this book for over a year, and just picked it up recently and found it to be very useful in the outpatient setting. It gives quick synopses of presentation, diagnosis and treatment options that are up-to-date. Don't expect definitions though - you'll have to use a bigger desk reference for that.

This pocket handbook is a compilation of current diagnostic and treatment guidelines for patient management in primary care. New NMS guidelines are included. This book is useful for physicians, medical students, nurse practitioners, and physician's assistants.. It outlines the diagnosis and therapy for common problems encountered by family physicians, internists, and other primary care providers
