Great Instruction Costilow does an excellent job in teaching the beginning carver how to make working decoys. The patterns are easy to follow and the painting tutorial is quite thorough. Has step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow and understand with carving and painting. Plus it has some great patterns in it too. I highly recommend this book for beginners like myself..
