Complete and total crap This book is garbage. The routine is as cookie cutter as it gets and it's pretty clear that the author (who has as book of this sort for every sport) just pastes the name of the sport onto the first two pages of introduction and then gives the same generic routine. Don't buy this or any of his other books.

Although skating seems to involve mostly the legs, maintaining good posture, specific arm position, and torso rotation are just as important. The skating specific programs I've used for my teams have helped us improve dramatically. Thanks. So ensuring that I develop all muscles is a tremendous help.
