Jesse R Perez said Nice beginner chapter book. Nice beginner chapter book. My six year old does not like putting this down. He is able to read whole chapters, or I can take a turn and read to him. Total book is about 90 pages, larger font with drawings to help reader imagine the story even more.. Good way to get kids excited about reading My 6 year old son sat down to read this book and he didn't put it down until he finished it. He was very excited about the story line, loved the characters, and the fact that it was a little scary in parts. He is eager to read the rest of the series. I definitely recommend for independent readers that still enjoy pictures here and there during the book.. I really enjoy reading this with my 3rd grader I really enjoy reading this with my 3rd grader, he is still getting used to books with more than 2 sentences on each page and it keeps his interest and mine.
