It goes through the basics of setting up running for success. Many people get into something without the proper planning or tools and quickly lose interest or suffer injury. I had not run consistently in years. I was still trying to run like i did when played soccer. I ran aggressively with long strides and found out i was creating issues with my tendons. This showed me the method of running with smaller strides while still working the body and gaining the cardio benefit i needed.. good book. Listen to the advice to take it good book. Listen to the advice to take it slow when building up your millage, your calves with thank you. I had to backtrack b/c my calves couldnt take it.. "Great book" according to Martin I>.
