David is killed at the beginning and he wanders around his town as a ghost. No one can see him, hear him, feel him, anything. He cannot move things around or really do anything in our world. Then he is at school one day and notices that Bethany can see him. Bethany the weird kid who every. "Heartbreaking but beautifully written" according to Amazon Customer. I read this book in half a day - once I started I couldn't put it down. I don't think I've ever cried this much during a book before. The story is completely heartbreaking but the writing is lovely. Wonderful character and story development. Will definitely try this author again:)
