but like other cops have said in these reviews Randall Medeiros I'm a 26 year and still going veteran of a police department much smaller than the NYPD at around 450 sworn, but like other cops have said in these reviews, police work is police work no matter where you do it. Lt. Osborne definitely has had more than his fair share of dangerous, strange, funny and to put it mildly, interesting shifts. In this book he does a great j. Saw author on a book tour on TV and that Dianne Martineau Saw author on a book tour on TV and that is what made me buy the book. I believe an audio book would have been more enjoyable as Steve's expresstions, phrasing, and accent really made the content come alive. Not so on the written page.. Once in a while he repeated himself but generally the book kept my attention and was hard to put down. Each chapter covers a different case or life experience so the book can easily be set aside if competing priorities interfere with you
