Although it is intended for a younger audience, I found it enlightening as well.Many Catholic traditions have been lost over time. When I studied European Cathedrals a couple of years ago, I was unclear about the spiritual significance and origins of calendar or zodiac reliefs.After reading this book to my class, I have a better understanding of how this tradition evolved and what it would have meant to people entering the cathedral for mass..
