The repetitive refrain "the bus is for us" is strangely comforting, and as I was reading this aloud, I saw some of the two year olds in th. "Let go somewhere." according to Bob Walch. Here's a good picture book for any youngster fascinated by various modes of transportation. There isn't much to the text (the idea is everyone loves to ride the bus) but the excellent illustrations show children riding trains, boats, horses, and other things. Since the author lives in London the stress on riding a bus makes sense but for people living outside of large cities this probably doesn'tbut no matter! You are really buying this book because it shows children going places and having a good time. Also the rhyming text reads w.
