t said Alternatives to a world in peril. Kezer's novel contains a good story, yet it also offers a lesson about a better way of living. Thru the voices and thoughts of relatable characters we get to see people find and discuss meaningful alternatives to war and endless fighting. It is hard to do a book like this without sounding preachy. These are big and important ideas, and Kezer managed to do it quite well.
