DESCRIPTION:
Then there are artists like Fernando Caretta who combine all those factors into a delicious blend of all three! Caretta loves girls, in all their shapely delights and naughty behavior, which is why his subjects are cute, sweet, and not-all-that-innocent! Every painting tells a story, from the tear in a pair of faded jeans to the lecherous grin of a guy who knows he's way out of his league! Welcome to the world of Caretta, where the female prey is really in control, and the would-be predator is in big trouble!. Some artists like to shock, others deal in fantasy, and still others just enjoy creating their own style of fun
Tim Janson said HARD CANDY IS VERY SWEET!. The naughty, yet playful art of Italian artist Fernando Caretta takes center stage in the latest release from Sal Quatuccio Productions. This first collection of the artist's is sure to be a treat for those unfamiliar with his work. It's not easy to describe Caretta's art although I think Norman Rockwell meets Joe Pekar would be a pretty good attempt. Like Pekar, Caretta's women have a more cartoonish, animated, and inn. "Nice butts, but" according to Ken. Well, Caretta excels at portraying the female derriere; it was on the strength of the cover illustration that I purchased the book. However, I can't really say that I like the faces of the women/girls in these images; I just don't find them attractive at all. His style is cartoonish, which is ok, but I prefer more human-looking women than these jug-eared, troll-like creatures. Worth a look if the price is good.. Dan Lucas said Caretta, a gifted artist with a slightly wicked sense of humor.. The artist of LAYLA'S RULES, 5 RULES ALL SCHNOODLES KNOW, Fernando Caretta, is a gifted artist with a creative but slightly wicked sense of humor. To say his drawings are art is an understatement, because each of Fernando's drawings tells a story. But more so, each story he tells has a moral. Fernando's art draws you into the picture; the story makes you stay, savor, and remember.
