A new collection of 66 poems, with English and Spanish versions printed side by side, by Philippine-American poet Edwin Agustín Lozada. Also in the book is Philippine hero José Rizal's 19th century poetic masterpiece in Spanish, "Mi último adiós" (My Last Farewell), an important piece of Philippine literature, with a new English translation by the author. This book of poetry not only contributes to Philippine-American literature, but also to an often forgotten body of literature in Spanish by Filipinos that had its golden age approximately during the last quarter of the nineteenth century to the 1930's.
