This is translated reprint of Kitagawa Utamaro book (ehon - Japanase ilustrated book) from 1788, combining of woodblock prints of plants and animals (mostly insects) by Utamaro himself and kyoka poems written by Yadoya no Meshimori. This edition is flawless and it's one of rare ocasions to enjoy complete ehon in English. I reccomend other book published the same way - Utamaro's "A chorus of birds" from the same publisher.
