Many years of research compiled into one paperback Intelligent_Designer I gave it 4 stars because it is a very good introduction into a plethora of solar technologies. Some of which, I wasn't even familiar with myself and I've been researching this subject for about 7 years now. I have more studying to do ;) But, while the author did get into the theory behind WHY things work, it was fairly light on the HOW it all comes together. I'm familiar with Ohms Law, Inverters, Charging Controllers, Passive/Active Water Heating systems, etc What I was looking for was an authoritative guide on best practice design and implementation of these systems.
