"One great primer!" according to michele huston. I am a very new beginner. This book is a must if you are a 67year old grammy like me and always wanted to learn to sew, but was confused by all the sewing "jargon". Sewing skills are taken one step at a time and that's what I needed, along with the glossary and the chapter on fabrics. Gr. Lynda Norton said Sewing 101, Revised and Updated: Master Basic. This book is amazing, I know how to sew, I took home economics in high school a very long time ago and I have sewn for years, but sometimes when you haven't done a particular project in a while it is a good thing to have a refresher and this book very helpful. Also, my daughter wants me . "Disappointed" according to Sunny. I bought this because the reviews said it had a DVD to watch along with the book. I DID NOT RECEIVE A DVD IN THE BOOK AND AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! Would not buy this again. What a rip-off!! Beware this Seller!
