This book is a fictional book about what if the United States President declared Martial Law. The book portrays a family in the Southern United states attempt to survive capture and enslavement in form of military enlistment. Two brothers struggle to survive in a world that is no longer reserved about its evil.. steph said Seemingly Dreaming. Seemingly Dreaming by Jen Hooser has an amazing way of capturing the readers attention. Coming from a nonreaders perspective I had a challenging time putting this book down! The characters were very well described giving them each their own characteristics, allowing me to be more attached to the characters on a personal level. The very well written book gave suc.
