DESCRIPTION:
"A perfect book for teaching the colors in sign language to children!" according to Polly L. Beebe. "See the Colors" is the perfect book for teaching the ASL signs for colors to young children. It has a catchy repetitive text that children will enjoy and want to read again and again. The illustrations are beautiful! Each page contains the sign for one of the color words in an easy to follow format. There is also a written explanation of each sign at the end of the book. In addition to this there are "fun facts" and game ideas to reinforce the learning of the signs. This would be an excellent book to use with deaf or hearing children to teach the sign language for colors.. "Quality books!" according to RBC. I received these for my students (and my daughter). I must say, upon first receiving these books, they were quality bound, the colors were vibrant and signs were accurate. This series is perfect for the little ones to re-emphasize the signs they have learned from their deaf parents or from their sign language classes. My daughter loves these books, my students love these books! We can't wait for more to come!
