DESCRIPTION:
Even more disturbing, things are not what he remembers from his history books. Suddenly decanted into the Victorian era, chemistry teacher Keith Halton is plunged into a struggle for existence. Can Keith use twenty-first century technology to combat them, rescue the young woman before the annual ceremony where the girl chosen as Queen of the Revels is ceremonially raped to death.. His situation is made worse when he tries to rescue a young serving girl from the clutches of a bunch of upper-class perverts who kidnap, rape and murder young women from behind the facade of a child brothel, itself concealed behind the cover of the Connisseur's Club. One protected by politicians and upper-class rakes unaware of what takes place on the sealed upper floors
disgusting This books seems to be about nothing other than justifying child love (pedophilia). As a mother to a daughter slightly older than some of these characters in this book I find it disgusting and disturbing. The author has the ability to write a good word or two, it's just a shame it was wasted on this type of novel. I understand he is trying to show us that culture and times differ
