We love this book We love this book. We knew that before we bought it. Found it at a library and renewed it to the limits before searching it out online. The pictures are expressive, timeless and beautiful. They reflect culture, preservation, personality and innovative and creative ideas. My husband is an electrician, plumber and carpenter. He loves looking through the book for ideas to use. "Beautiful and Compelling!" according to S. W.. This book is beautifully photographed, and the writing is so delicious it makes me want to dive into each page and live there. If you love Scandinavian design, you'll love this book. There is beauty and simplicity within, and the author and photographer also make an effort through this work to demonstrate the resourcefulness of present-day Vikings.. great book, great photos i love the books that elizabeth gaynor has done on scandanavia and finland.would recommend!! they are great ideas books when going there isn't possible.
