calicat said Unwed mother discovers her child is alive. I like most of Louise Allen's books, but I am having a hard time finishing this one. Woman discovers the child she thought was dead is alive and living with the male cousin of her dead lover. She insinuates herself into his household and lures him into a relationship. There are lies and half truths all through the story. I kept thinking a few sentences would have straightened it all. Scandal's Virgin was a good read. The hero is also likable and with a strong sense of honor and devotion to his family. I would surely recommend this book. The plot is simple, but the characters carry the story..
