The illustrations were good - even for the e-ink version kindle I have (black and white only), I would imagine they would be even better if you are reading on a color device. I like to read books like this to my granddaughter who doesn't quite read yet, but enjoys the pictures and enjoys learning her ABC's. It didn't occur to me that children in other countries where Soccer is so popular could learn the English alphabet from a book like this. Harry Barker has done a fine job of showing us Soccer terms and learning the alphabet at the same time. And, the sentences rhythm which makes it even more fun.
