DESCRIPTION:
Modern Poets at Their Best Derek Dias This book is spectacular. It contains lots of poetry, prose, and art from the contemporary indie/punk/hardcore/emo scene. Much of the poetry is so original and moving. I personally loved it and constantly find myself flipping through it. Some bands that have contributed works include Silverstein, Taking Back Sunday, The Bled, Boys Night Out, From Autumn to Ashes, This Day Forward, Planes Mistaken For Stars, The Starting Line, Fear Before The March of Flames, and many more. For a good handle on modern poetry, or if you like any of these bands . Hot Pink Unicorns This book is absolutely amazing. The poetry is insightful, and the bands deserve so much credit for their extreme talent. I find that it makes great presents, if that counts. You can't readd this book without finding something to make you laugh or cry. Completely moving. Props to anyone who picks it up and reads it, you wouldn't regret it.. "Great" according to I am the Robot. This book of poems is great, wonderful. I read it in one day,i couldnt let go of it and i read once more and it was still great. Some of the bands should get more respect for their talents that they have and should do more with it.
