As bad as any boxing promoter he quotes, the author takes Brambles entire life story including some irreplaceable photos and refuses to give Bramble any of the royalties or to return his property or phone calls. I was skeptical at first, however this is an exceptional story. I would totally recommend. This dude used to walk into the boxing ring with a snake around his neck. A sad story of a strange and complex man - filled with laughs and great tales. Well written, 5-stars.. "Great!" according to Donald Ankofski. Livingstone Bramble was a colorful character with an interesting story to be told. I also enjoyed the added stories about many of his opponents as well as their reflections on Bramble.
