DESCRIPTION:

"Only for hardcore Crumb fans" according to Cwn_Annwn. I saw this on the shelf at the library and grabbed it because I'm a fan of Crumbs work and share his fetish for large buttocked females. These are not any of his comic stories, this book is a compilation of some of his earliest sketches done during his childhood and teen years so most of this stuff is very innocent and cute, not the cartoon porn, neurotic angst ridden or LSD influenced art that Crumb is best known for. It was interesting to flip through the pages but I doubt this wou. Theodore Jacobs said The genesis. Is as important as the later work, and though highly sexualized (what isn't of Crumb's?) it shows the genesis of what would become his unique humor and artistic style.. Michael Dubisch said Five Stars. 1 and "Five Stars" according to Michael Dubisch. 1 and 2 may be my favorites.. may be my favorites.

But what you do get is a "peek behind the curtain"- an opportunity to see into the man's brain, how he looks at space and turns it into a line with some shade marks
