Second in a very promising series An excellent book, continuing the coming-of-age story of Kathy Diane Pennington.The clash of wills with her grandmother continues, as enemies strike from the shadows and the Val Empire comes under attack.Her life is saved (again!) by an outlander, who has deadly secrets of his own.The story suffers from similar *fairly* minor formatting and spell-check errors as the first book, but is still quite an enjoyable read.My greatest criticism is that the b.
