This is a horrible book to read and gain any insightful knowledge from other than superficial, basic knowledge. If I wasn't a Chem E and didn't have a great teacher then I'd be in a world of complete confusion. This book does little more than use magic to derive equations and uses inconsistent conventions. In addition, it seems to spend a lot of time on specific thermodynamic examples then using mass and ene. "Five Stars" according to Allan. Arrived as described, I can't vouch for the contents of the book yet!
