About the Author Born in Poland and a former German citizen, Karina Sheerin is currently the Director of Financial Control, Budgeting and Analysis for Brandeis University. A seasoned lecturer at Brandeis, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Coexistence and Conflict. Her desire to write was inspired by a confluence of tragedy, house fire and cancer, all in the same year.

I could not put the book down. The worst part was, when i got to the end. In few words: "what to Heck?". I could not believe that was it and I can't wait for Book 2 to come out. She falls in love with an alien man and becomes an alien citizen. A fascinating story of an amazing teenage girl.I can’t wait to hear what her future holds!. The characters are fascinating, the plot is so interesting and unpredictable. I appreciated the layers of the book - the characters' relationships, the drama of the plot, the changes and development of the heroine. This is a wonderful book that teens and adults alike will really appreciate. No spoiler here, but the ending is totally unpredictable and left me breathless for the sequel.
