About the Author Marty graduated Magna Cum Laude from Williams College where she studied economics and psychology and was a Division I All-American ski racer. . Marty became concerned about math education when her own children struggled in math at top public schools. She “broke the curve” in statistics classes en route to getting a master’s degree in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and also has an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School.
