"Nancy IS happy!" according to Cosmic-Surf. I waited for this volume for quite some time, as its release kept getting pushed back. I have to say, however, the wait was well worth it. Originally, I had hoped it would be hard covered, like the 'Peanuts' books. But, when the book arrived, the quality was superb and the paper stock really wonderful. The comic strips, chronologically arranged, offer everything any Nancy fan could wish and more. I also found it very interesting as these were originally published during the. I AM HAPPY! Marco I've owned a few Nancy collections over the years including the "Best of" volume and the Kitchen Sink books, so I was already a huge admirer of Ernie Bushmiller. His linework is sharp and beautiful, and I rank him with George Herriman, Basil Wolverton, Jack Cole and a few others as an artist who stretched far beyond his era in the comics medium. Ernie Bushmiller (1905-1982) inherited the glamour-girl Fritzi Ritz strip in 1925. .
