Vicat said A Confession. I read so much, both for work and pleasure, that I had to go back and read the first of this series before beginning this second installment as a reminder. And, even coming off the heels of the first, I was met with a rarity - most series have the reader stepping off the page of one book into the next, which is often comforting but sometimes mundane. Larmer has presented us the gift of feeling the characters have been off doing their own things without us, that as we meet them again we are truly old friends catching up after a brief time apart. I find that refreshing. And the storyline does not disappoint, including the classic Chri. I want to join this book club! I loved this book. Sometimes though, I had trouble remembering who was who because there were so many characters in the story. But the plot kept my interest and the people in the story were so well done. I would recommend this book to anyone, and yes, I do love Agatha Christie!!!. Very Enjoyable Mystery Book As a huge Agatha Christie fan, this series is right up my alley! A little of Christie's style with modern times thrown into the mix. The main characters are likable and make me wish I belonged to a book club like this one! A thoroughly enjoyable read! I hope the author continues with other books in this series.
