If I only wanted to develop a tic tac toe game program then this book would be for me. It covers beginning topics but barely scratches the surface. It was useless for the applications I was wanting to learn and didn't even mention most of them. Spend a little more money and get a book that is about "Very limited applications" according to ljd.
