In my opinion, this book is even better than the first one in this series. It has a delicious Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice spin to it. Add to that - mystery, suspense, and clean romance with great chemistry and banter between the main characters. Just the right amount of passion and kissing to keep it interesting. I loved every part of this book and will be looking forward to readin. Loved it This book fit in well as the second book in the series. I liked the way the two stories were interwoven. This was not a continuation of the first. The preface of both was the same.I liked the small deception carried out by friends of the H and h. I also liked the suspense added.Overall, loved the book. Loved the characters. Loved that it wasn't a typical ending (didn't feel rushed). I've read a lot of Regency romances so perhaps I've Manderhits I've read a lot of Regency romances so perhaps I've become a bit of a snob, but this book just didn't do it for me. I didn't really care for any of the characters, the dialogue was often awkward, and the whole story sort of bordered on the absurd. I found myself skimming through the end of the book just to finish it.
