An all-in-one review for the diagnostic radiology board examination – complete with 1000+ Q&As!McGraw-Hill Specialty Board Review: Radiology
Karl A. Schultz said So so. I bought this obviously for board preparation for the first exam of the future. This book is 90% text which is an interesting concept for a radiology book. What made me throw this book across the room was the blatant errors in it. The typos make you re-read the same paragraph several times to figure out what the author is trying to say. The final straw was when the book stated the most common cause of a disease was X and then on the very next page they said it was Y.. Helpful for board preparation The information is presented in written paragraphs, covering all high yield topics, and not like other review books (only bulleted points). This makes it more easy to memorize. Just bulleted points are easy to read, but difficult to retain. The quality of material is excellent, however, it should provide good references also with links.Overall must book for board exams in general radiology. "boards review book" according to NAB. good study questions. good synopsis of each topic. overall, very helpful studying tool.
