Good illustrations but weak story Neal Reynolds This has a lot of good artwork in it. The animals will probably be quite enjoyed by the young reader. However, the writer's style is a bit on the blah side and I don't really see this as captivating a young reader. The story line meanders and continues to be less than exciting. The cover is enticing. Admittedly, I'm an old guy and might not be a good judge of what will hold a young reader's interest. It just seems to me that the reader will find it a bit difficult to stay interested in.
