There was some good stuff in it to be sure, but when you're comparing it to his entire body of work, and when considering the wait, it seemed a bit anti-climatic.The art was great, the female empowerment was great, bu. Not the best Los Bros Hernandez work, but full of interesting moments Andrew C Wheeler This book doesn't stand alone; it stands atop nearly thirty years of previous work by both of the creators; this would be a horrible place to begin reading either of them. This particular yearly "issue" has a hundred pages of comics, evenly divided between Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez.Jaime's half comes in two parts, but they're continuing the same story -- the story that began in last year's first issue in this new format, "Ti-Girls Adventures Number 34," as if all hundred pages of this story was a supe. The Hernandez Bros. are the best! Love and Rockets has always been the very pinnacle of independent comics. If you're a comics fan, GET ONE OF THESE BOOKS!
