THE go-to source for all things Rosie! This book is, by far, the most comprehensive career guide ever published on the amazing Rosemary Clooney. You can literally follow her activities on a day to day basis as you turn the pages! Recording dates, film & TV appearances, concert appearances it's all here, covered in depth. It's part biography, and part diary, all in one concise package. Outside of her own autobiographies, this definitive and highly recommended fresh look at the life and times of one of the greatest female vocalists. Great Biography Mary Abner I appreciated the immense effort that went into the research in this book. I work at the Clooney House in Augusta, KY., and was amazed at all the information included. She was a wonderful lady - but not without some struggles.and everything was presented respectfully and objectively. I would encourage everyone interested in her life to not miss this!!!!. Loved it. I have always enjoyed Rosemary Clooney's music and was fortunate to see her at a few of the venues mentioned in this book. Thebook gives great insight into Ms. Clooney's vocal range over the years, timing and phrasing. It is interesting to learn of her personal trials and triumphs. Great read.
