MC Fisher said With this book and the Haynes, it is all covered. I purchased this and the Haynes just to make sure all the bases were covered. Think the Haynes actually is a little better, but if you want, buy em both since they each use different pictures and instructions. If you are just doing a little work, either will work, but trust me, having both has paid off, one book will explain better than the other, while the other books pictures will be better.. Cap'n said Okaybut Haynes is much better!. I purchased this manual when I bought my motorcycle to have on handIt really was not very helpful.I bought new sprockets and it was a fairly involved process to change them out (had to remove the whole back wheel, etc.) This manual (maybe I'm just dumb) just was a pain to try and find how to do this simple task.I purchased the haynes and so far it has been MUCH better. Can actually see the photos and the layout just makes a lot more sensemuch easier to find what is needed (and in fewer pages strangely enough). Plus I love th. Repair Manual Constance H. Travers My husband found a beautiful used Vulcan 800 and being as mechanically inclined as he is, wanted the manual on it. He hasn't used it yet because the bike was so nice but perhaps down the road he'll need it. Nice bike.
