It was written in darkness but this is no ugly stunted thing, shrinking away from the light. On the contrary, Girl in the Dark is a flower in full bloom and its insights are powerful and wise.The author comes as close to being a ghost as a living person can be. I don't mean to glamourise what is obviously an horrific situation, but there's something poetic in her plight t.
