As with other historical fiction books, this one is very educational as much as it is entertaining. For those wanting to know a little more about the Middle East and its complexities, this book is a must. . "Galilee: The Christian, the Druze, the Jew and the Muslim" according to Mamoosa. Though all four beliefs are discussed "lightly" nothing is really covered at all. I would have come out miles ahead reading the information on the internet and not be out the cost of this book..
