I paid for this? This book is so unbelievably worthless. As a college student, I understand that I'm going to be pushed beyond my bounds, but this book is essentially a collection of mathematical proofs with no notes on some of the "simpler" computations. Even after taking all the offered calculus courses at my University this book is still a nightmare . "Maybe a classic, but 5th ed. full of TYPOs!" according to Kenneth. I have carefully studied this text over a two-semester series in transport phenomena and I am amazed at the severity of typographical errors.
