"Loves them all!" according to Paula Jennings. My son absolutely LOVES these Dover historical coloring books. It has been so great to have such a big selection at Amazon. Previously we were only able to get one or two when we would spot them at a reenactment. We now have them from various periods of history. He not only enjoys coloring them with his colored pencils but tracing them onto tracing paper. He is a kinesthetic learner so these have been great to reinforce (or often to learn sooner than the class) a lot of his history.. ratfacts said A Good Book. All of Peter F. Copeland's books are good for their ease in teaching or learning American History. The saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words", describes these books perfectly. They make great "Just thinking of you" presents for the grandkids. Just add a box of colored pencils and you're all set.. Great gift for Gettysburg fan. A. Beth I gave this coloring book as a gift to 2 different history buffs, both are into the civil war. I haven't heard if they have colored in them, but they were a hit as gifts to open. One family received a bundle of color books, ballerinas for Mom, Gettysburg for Dad and Minecraft for Son. also in the package was 1 box new crayons, 1 box new colored pencils; 1 box new colored markers. --- wonderful to have adult coloring books.
