Freaking Awesome!!! I almost didn't want to take a class with a $250 book. I found this one, new, for $60. I felt bad after I told one of the other students in class that dropped the $250 for a used copy from the student bookstore. What a rippoff. Can't remember which seller I bought this from but they were great! shipped fast and the book was completely new as described.. "It has some errors but overall an excellent intro to Accounting book" according to texan_176@yahoo.com. After nearly a decade after finishing my undergraduate work I decided to go back for an advance degree in business. To qualify for entry into a program I needed to take two principles of accounting classes. The instructor used this book for both classes. The layout of the book is excellent because it builds from simple concepts to more complex ones in a logical format. Each chapter also has a summary that reviews key points you must fully understand to be successful in the course. There are plenty of practice problems included but almost none of. purplerev said Too heavy. I despise this big, heavy book. Managerial accounting is a required couse for my MBA program so I had to purchase this but it's too heavy to comfortably carry in my laptop case & too boring for me to actually readI still got an A in the course
