DESCRIPTION:

Psychic activity, remote viewing, the power of prayer and homeopathy are all discussed in this book which The Ecologist called 'one of the most thought-provoking reads of the year', and which has already gained a almost cult following. Sales Handles: * A highly readable scientific detective story which reveals how 'the Field' a vast cobweb of energy connecting everything in the universe, past and present, is responsible for many of the most profound human mysteries How psychics can read the future and the past; how remote viewing works - and how such techniques have been used by the CIA; how energy healing works; why homeopathy works and all sorts of other mysteries are explored by the frontier scientists Lynne McTaggart has interviewed.. A book which gives scientific proof of the paranormal

These fields, McTaggart asserts, are a "cobweb of energy exchange" that link everything in the universe; they control everything from cellular communication to the workings of the mind, and they could be harnessed for unlimited propulsion fuel, levitation, ESP, spiritual healing and more. Until it materializes, McTaggart may have to settle for being a voice in the wilderness.Copyright 2002 Cahners Business Information, Inc. Many ancient cultures and even modern indigenous cultures have lived by these ideas for a very long time. Western philosophy espoused these ideas since the Renaissance, being eclipsed eventually by Locke, Descartes, and others. Descartes, Newton, and many other scientists since then almost completely eclipsed the Field ideas, literally shaping the modern Western mind, many of whom attempted to force indigenous minds to bend . Unifying Experience! Miscous I read "The Field" in 2016 . and it provided a unified perspective for many teachings I have encountered in the last 15 years! It deserves and will get a second reading soon. My sense is the well documented sources will provide me with many new directions to investigate.. Interesting Information - Annoyed By The Writing Style C. Jack I found much of this book to be interesting. It attempts to collect data on the science behind energy physics. Many of the scientists that stumbled on discoveries were ostracized by their peers and their research funding withdrawn, because their discoveries flew in opposition with commonly held thought. That is still occurring today. The scientific equipment that was designed to measure each of these phenomena were facinating. The finding that everything, including humans, emits photons
