I found some interesting ideas. Gail Rodgers While others seem to be disappointed in this book, I wasn't. It probably helped that I picked it up at a thrift store for around a dollar! I have been altering sweatshirts into lightweight jackets for years now and I have a few tucked away that I want to fix up. While I will not follow any of the ideas completely, I wil. Beth Allison said very helpful. I had seen a jacket someone made from a sweatshirt and I loved and thought I could do that. So I looked at several books and chose this one because it best fit my needs. I am very pleased with the book and am getting ready to do one of the projects (jacket) in the book. I agree with a previous viewer who didn't like any of the patterns. I wouldn't go quite that far since there are a few I like. What I do very much like about the book are the detailed photo instructions at the beginning of the book. I also like
