Another classic from Judika. This is by far one of the most extensive books on spirits, demons, ghost, goddesses and genies from all over the world. I keep this by my bedside as a quick reference guide, you can find everything from a beloved djinna spirits, to loa, orisha's, palo, mermaid to madusa. the only thing I wish was included was a tokoloshi dwarf spirit. this encyclopedia give an writeup on just about every spirit you can think of from every culture around the globe. easily. "Save your money, do a google search instead!" according to nyc. I am very disappointing! The book is not designed well for reading with my Kindle. It very hards to find specific topics and when you do, the information provide can be found much easier on google.. A worthwhile buy, with several advantages over internet sources Nikolai H. It cannot be easily replaced by Wikipedia, as many encyclopedias can. It strikes a good balance between detail and summary and avoids the pitfall of shoving each spirit into a convenient "God of War" or "Goddess of the Moon"
