AJ said Elements of Physical Chemistry. This textbook was very difficult to follow and read. It also contained a large number of serious errors, as several important equations were written incorrectly. I found myself using Wikipedia and Youtube in order to learn the topics and finish my homework. Many of the homework problems are confusing, and at best, they expect you to use the CRC manual in order to find the values you need. I highly suggest the solu. Perfect Pchem MJJPW I really like the way the material is organized, presented, and explained in this text. PLEASE NOTE:This book is good for an intro. or applied physical chemistry class. If you are looking for in depth definitions and derivations, this book is not what you want. However it is a good text in its own right.. P-Chem is hard enough I don't think I ever used a text book as much as I used this one. Every page is filled with full color illustrations and it presents the material in a logical and easy to follow format. My only complaint is that sometimes equations are introduced without every variable being explained. The font makes it difficult to distinguish between v and (lower case nu)', which can cause some problems when you are trying to ca
The new edition offers even more student and instructor support, now in a beautiful full-color presentation.. With its emphasis on physical principles, careful exposition of essential mathematics, and helpful pedagogy, Elements of Physical Chemistry is the ideal text for the one-semester physical chemistry course
