DESCRIPTION:
"Three Stars" according to Katy. The language was a little more technical than I expected and not quite as engaging as hoped.. A Customer said A Fun Adventure!. I have read the first two books in this series. I am a homeschooled eight year old. It was easy for me to read. At first it wasn't that exciting, but then it became a good adventure. This story was about Wayne Grover and a dolphin named Baby and their search for treasure.. homeschool mom said great story for older children. My seven year old really enjoyed listening to this book. Although there are not many pictures, the story itself was enough to hold their interest.
Wayne Grover and his friends are diving for treasure in the waters off Florida's southeast coast when a ferocious storm severs his boat's moorings. The storm is making huge, powerful waves. Sharks are closing in. Can Baby, the dolphin Wayne recused as a calf, come to the diver's rescue?. Wayne is left stranded far from shore
While the timing might stretch credibility, this tale is one that will thrill youngsters who enjoy reading about treasure hunts as much as those who love animal stories. A terrifying night at sea follows; panic, hypothermia, exhaustion, and finally sharks threaten to put an end to his life. This time it's the man's life that's on the line as a storm leaves him stranded off the coast of Florida during a dive for sunken treasure. One thing after another goes wrong, until Grover realizes how much he has risked for gold and jewels. A must for those who met Baby in the first book, and a treat for anyone looking for a fast and fascinating read.?Susan Oliver, Hillsborough
